Unreleased Goa Records celebrates this Christmas with a super-massive Goa Trance release: the second triple album of Gangguru titled "Alternate Realities". Pierre Branet, Phil Weiss, and Willy Boutron formed the Gangguru project in 1994. The album title refers to a spiritual experience they had at the 1993 edition of the Vuuv Festival with DJ Antaro. Prior to Gangguru's formation, Willy had organized several memorable parties, Pierre was creating fluorescent decor for all party organizations in Paris and Phil later became one of his co-workers. Over the years, they gradually gathered an impressive collection of analog synthesizers and experimented a lot until they found a distinct musical style and improved their production skills. Their work eventually caught the attention of some top producers of the 90’s who visited their studio, such as Odd’s, Masa, Guy Sebbag, Astral Projection and, most notably, Jan Müller of X-Dream, with whom they created the legendary Children Of Paradise project in 1997. Gangguru were a prolific team until they called it a day in 2002, with a total outcome of over 100 tracks.

In 2018, Gangguru, who had recently reformed and toured in Belgium, Greece and Israel, released their highly acclaimed debut album "Be Your Own Guru", an excellent selection of the project's tracks. However, there were even more tracks on the band's DAT tapes that were digitised by the label at the time, awaiting to be released. Unreleased Goa Records is very proud to make them public for the first time in the form of a three-part anthology titled "Alternate Realities". The first part features 12 previously unreleased pieces that blasted the dance-floors in the 1990’s. The second part gathers the best alternate mixes and remixes of previously known tracks. The third part is a special reissue of the famous "Dreamtime / X-3" EP (a 1999 vinyl release on 3rd Mind Records), with a full-length and an alternate mix of "Dreamtime" as well as a cleaned version of "X-3".

These storming Goa Trance creations have been wonderfully remastered and are ready to be unleashed and played out loud at parties and festivals. A truly special X-Mas gift for you and your friends!
